Why u lose myanmar citizenship? just ask yourself. People used to do what is better for them. But when u ask do u love your country. Of course, everybody love their own motherland. But answer yourself do u really love your country and people than you. I would say most of us will be no. You change the citizenship becos it give you better situation. Plz don't pretend to be like i love my country and people with my heart but becos of alot of situation and circumstance made me do it. humm decision is up to you.
I have seen people who has scarify their lives. Some lecturer (some of my father friends).. they even-though get offer from high salary companies, they stick to their position. when i ask them, they answered me back " our education is downed.. if we leave it like this, it will be even worse. without education, the nation will be in turmoil. But there are our future generations. We cannot let them suffer. We still can pass our knowledge to them. At least this is what we can do for our country." Some of my fri are helping people out there in areas like maesot. They told me if i have something to eat and somewhere to sleep, it should be more than enough. I m very happy to helo these people"
Compared to them how much u love your people and nation, I am sure most of you will be nothing.
You may ask about me. I m about to graduate from a foreign university. I do some i can for now as i m still in the study. When I have finished my study. I will do volunteer teacher in charity school in maesot or in the country. And then I will try to find out in which ways we can contribute my people. I m not telling you do not love your people and nation. But we, some of us love our nation and people than ourselves. We are ready to cut off all what we can get.. family, position, living standard or whatever .. as long as i have a white and green to eat.
My fris, our country need human resources, If we just ignore it, it will be worse and worse. We have our younger generations. Most of them do not know value about loyalty, commitment to the nation and people. We need to show them light. We should be acting as model.. if we, educated people just leaving and leaving country, have u ever imagine how our country will be in future.. I am not telling your are ruining but educated peoples leaving the country lead that way for true... Even if you don't have technical knowledge, you can help our gens about the moral value and attitude. Most of our generation have lost these attributes and these are very basic steps to step to a good nation.
yeah one candle cannot give anything but how about if there become alot. There still hopes for the nation. But need leaders and follower. Be yourselves to be the leader and follower.
Just some of my feelings. I do not mean to harm you all.. "I was born there. So I pledge my loyalty to my people. Even if there is nothing there and they cannot support me, I will be staying there and sharing with them."
